Q Mule-Hide Products’
Helix Max Low-Rise Adhe-
sive is a two-component,
construction-grade polyure-
thane foam adhesive de-
signed to bond approved
roof insulations, thermal
barriers, cover boards,
and fleece-back single-ply
membranes (TPO, PVC,
PVC KEE) to a variety of
roofing substrates. The
adhesive replaces the
company’s Helix Low-Rise
Adhesive and offers great-
er elongation (up to 150%)
and tensile strength, and
the ability to be applied in
colder temperatures (as
low as 25 F). Wind uplift
resistance enables Helix
Max to be used on taller
buildings and in higher
wind zones.

Q Sherwin-Williams has
upgraded its Tuff Surface
Premium Texture Finish to
create a more appealing
knockdown, splatter, and
orange peel texture. The
formula is ideal for hiding
imperfections and uneven
or damaged sound sur-
faces in hotels and other
high-traffic spaces. The
mildew-resistant coating
is applied with airless and
conventional texture spray
equipment. Tuff Surface
Premium offers excellent
“hang” properties to keep
it clinging to the wall until
it is knocked down to the
desired texture, says the
maker.
