The World Economic Forum’s 50th year in Davos saw the second
edition of Journal House, The Wall Street Journal ’s home away
from home. Built onto the side of the Steigenberger Grandhotel
Belvédère, the two-story space hosted 20 events that drew
participants including Ajay Banga, CEO of Mastercard; David
Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs; Gita Gopinath, Chief
Economist at the IMF; Stephen A. Schwarzman, CEO of
Blackstone; and Jennifer Morgan, co-CEO of SAP. A special
