Mr. Chu's response came laden with mockery, like darkness
slapping you with its eerie voice in the dead of night. "Yes, I am
Mr. Chu," his voice pierced the hot air, exuding the scent of
anger and resentment. "Did you expect me to die with your
friend? No, it was my only son who perished because of you."
Luna staggered backward with difficulty, engulfed by a wave
of guilt and regret, yet she couldn't muster a response.
Silence, curse you all! Mr. Chu barked harshly, his words
echoing like crashing waves against the rocks of despair.
As he spoke, her memory drowned in the events of that fateful
night. They were at a remote house amidst the forest, where
families had gathered for a day of enjoyment. But later,
everyone went for a stroll, leaving her with Larry, Mr. Chu's
young son, in the house. It was a night of daring, and in a
moment of recklessness, Larry asked her to dance on the fire
pole, eager to please him, she agreed. But unfortunately, they
forgot to extinguish the fire, and suddenly it blazed, turning
the innocent game into a real disaster as the fire engulfed the
entire house
