ou can wait for something/someone

Y

when you've heard an information
that the thing/person is coming. For
example, you can only wait to receive your
loved ones at the airport, when you've
already gotten an information that he/she is
coming.

As I said earlier, waiting has to do with
staying in a specific place. Therefore, it is
important we consider where we ought to
stay while we are waiting on God. The reason
some believers miss God's direction for their
lives is because they stay in a wrong
location. You can't expect to meet and
welcome a president that is coming from
the overseas, and be waiting for him at the
general market. You will definitely not be
able to meet him. This same reason is why
many are waiting in vain because they're
waiting in the wrong location.

To wait means to stay in a specific place in an
expectation of something or someone.
When we look through the scriptures,
especially in the epistles, we will discover
that God expects every believer to wait on
Him (Romans 8:23-25; 12:7-8; Galatians 5:5;
2 Thessalonians 3:5; James 5:7). Waiting is
not just something we have to do until we
get what we want. To wait upon the Lord
means we're trusting God to tell us what His
goals for our lives are. It means we are
trusting in God's programme and plans for
our lives. Therefore, Waiting is part of the
process of becoming what God wants us to
be here below.

THE RIGHT LOCATION
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe
in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s
house are many mansions; if it were not so, I
would have told you. I go to prepare a place
for you. And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again and receive you to
Myself; that where I am, there you may be
also. And where I go you know, and the way
you know.” John 14 :1-4 (NKJV)

This was a critical moment for the disciples,
having known that Jesus whom they have
been following will soon be crucified, being
that Jesus had told them already. But Jesus
being a good master and friend gave them
the reason He is going to the cross; It was for
us, that we may occupied our vacant
position in the presence of God. When God
designed His household, He designed your
position (mansion) alongside. Adam lost his
way; he lost his position which made it
vacant until Jesus went to the cross to pay
the ultimate sacrifice, so that we can be
accepted in the beloved (Ephesians 1:6). He
assured them that He will come again and
receive them to Himself, talking about His
resurrection. As a result of Christ's
resurrection, we also rose up with Him to be
seated with him in heavenly places.
(Ephesians 1:3,20; 2:6).

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come,
they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from
heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it
filled the whole house where they were
sitting. Then there appeared to them
divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon
each of them. And they were all filled with
the Holy Spirit and began to speak with
other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
utterance. Acts 2:1- 4 NKJV Hallelujah! Jesus
fulfilled the promise He made to His
disciples; He came back to His disciples at
the Pentecost in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit brought the reality of their

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE LOCATION
Another thing that is very important while
waiting is the information you receive. It is in

present position with the truine God to their
experiences. They became engulfed with
the presence and personality of Jesus that
people could see physical signs like cloven
tongues on their faces. No wonder Peter,
who was intimidated by a little girl could
stand up with boldness and confidence to
face thousands of Jews to declare Jesus as
the Lord and Messiah (Acts 2:26). They were

You can't wait for someone you don't know
or have a personal relationship with. The
waiting process starts with a personal
relationship with Christ in your Spirit man.

the life of Jesus. Then the Holy Spirit will
begin a journey with you and engage your
soul with the reality of what you've already
become in your Spirit man to the degree of

so concious and full of the aura of God's
presence that no other personality could
intimidate them or keep them quite. Since
then, they never felt the absence of Jesus
because they could experience Him in His
glorified form in a more deeper way; in their
spirit, soul and body.

This is where God wants us to stay; to stay
connected with Jesus through His Spirit,
with our mind so engulfed with the
presence and personality of Christ, to the
degree that we don't want anything else
apart from Christ and Him crucified. This is
the waiting room, where you are so satisfied
with Jesus and you are pleased with the
fragrance that comes from His presence. In
this waiting room, you have all what is
needed. This put you in a resting position
with no agitation or pressure whatsoever.
