about? If we speak up or out—or, god
forbid, express ambition—we’re often
called the B word. We’re supposed to
act happy all the time. We’re supposed
to let bad sex slide. We’re supposed to
keep a lid on vocalizing that we want
to look and feel hot. Yeah...not on
Cosmo’s watch. The truth is, staying
silent holds women back by keeping us
from learning valuable intel and getting
help when we most need it.
So we partnered with The Female
Quotient, a firm that focuses on issues
relating to women and equality, to
identify topics we’re all dying to
discuss—but find way too hard to voice
out loud. More than 1,000 of you got
real with us, saying over and over that
when it comes to talking taboos, “I’m
afraid to be judged” or “Am I the only
one who wants to know....” (Spoiler
alert: We’ll never judge you and you are
so never the only one!)
