LARGEST NO-GRIP WINGSUIT

FORMATION (FAI-APPROVED)

On 17 Oct 2015, a team of 61 wingsuit-

clad skydivers led by Taya Weiss (USA)

jumped from three planes at 13,500 ft

(4,114 m) before coming together at

5,500 ft (1,676 m) to form a spectacular

multi-coloured diamond shape (below)

over Perris Valley in California, USA.

To qualify for the record, the

team had to fly in close formation

• without holding one another –
  in designated flying spaces.
  This was checked and certified
  by three judges from the
  Fédération Aéronautique
  Internationale (FAI).
