Beat together the cream cheese
and 2 or 3 tablespoons of castor
sugar, add the raisins and the
liquid they have cooked in and if
you like a little more liqueur. Put
into a muslin and leave in a very
cold place to drain for several
hours. Serve with a plain biscuit.
FIGUES AU FOUR
In a fireproof dish arrange some
slightly under-ripe unpeeled figs.
Put in a little water, sprinkle them
with sugar and bake them (as for
baked apples).
