communications - Example - No DSC Acknowledgement

  • Reset your DSC Controller (to stop it repeating the Distress Alert).

  • Switch to the 8MHz telex Distress Frequency (8376.5kHz).

  • Set your SSB Radio Telex system to FEC mode and type your
    message:
    MAYDAY
    DEJUSTINA/GJUS1232456789
    CANCEL FALSE DISTRESS ALERT ON 8414.5KHZ AT 2510520
    +?

  • Enter details in your radio log (example below).

  • Inform the master:
