The coastline of the UK and Ireland is home to a huge variety of marinas, from 5-star

luxury accommodation to mid-river trots and mud berths.

Working boats, pleasure palaces and everything in between can be found either

visiting or residing – some in the water, others ashore.

Many facilities are remote havens offering easy access to secluded waterways and

silent, dark nights in your berth. Others are situated right in the heart of things with

apartments, shops, restaurants and more making for a vibrant cultural and

commercial atmosphere. And marinas close to large towns or cities often have

excellent public transport links so you have easy access to all the action, whether

that’s for sightseeing or simply restocking the boat.

What’s the attraction of waterside living for you? Peace and quiet? The excitement

of the city? There’s something for everyone, that’s for sure...
