Benetti says the owner offered a “significant

contribution” from “conception to development.”

This included working with Azure Naval

Architects, Reymond Langton Design, Zaniz

Interiors and Giorgio Cassetta to develop the

exterior design

The exterior sports 8,600ft^2 of glass, with 10ft-tall

windows that flood the interior with light.

There are plentiful social spaces inside and

out, a private owner’s deck and up top the

helicopter pad is equipped with a fueling station

The yacht has six decks and is built in steel and

aluminum. Project-managed by Burgess, the

yacht has a 53ft beam and a hybrid propulsion

system with diesel-electric engines. The boat

required more than two million hours of skilled

work from over 100 suppliers

6 FB272 is the second of three 100m+ (328ft+)

yachts set for delivery by Benetti in 2019. Its

launch follows FB277 in December 2018, while

FB275 splashed in March this year
