Electromagnetic flowmeters
The Proline Promag W 300/500 electromagnetic flowmeters are
suitable for industrial water and wastewater applications. Pro-
mag W 300 is a compact version with multiple I/Os, while the
remote version, Promag W 5 00, is available as a digital remote
transmitter. The digital remote transmitter allows a maximum
connecting cable length of
1, 000 ft ( 300 m). These flow-
meters possess the necessary
custody transfer approvals, Ex
approvals and IP68. The de-
vices are available with welded
flanges as well as with lap-joint
flanges. The sensor is available in line sizes starting at 1 in up
to 90 in. The device is calibrated according to ISO/IEC 1 7025.

The AY110-100V vertical rotation stage measures 3.397 in (100
mm) in diameter and has a 1 .181-in- (30-mm-) diameter clear
aperture to allow for cabling, vacuum lines, clamping and
laser alignment. A precision pattern of threaded mounting are
provided to add custom tooling. Rated for a side load up to 44 lb
(2 0 kg), this stable vertical rotation stage features a 1 80:1 preci-
sion worm drive and deep-grove ball bearings for a resolution
of ±0.001° when microstepping ( 10
micro steps per step). The stage
also features 0 .005° repeatability,
0.001° positional accuracy and
0.005° backlash and is capable of
continuous rotation.

scientists in process manufacturing organizations to analyze,
predict, collaborate

includes expanded
“scorecards,” a feature
to display calculatedtables in Workbench and Organizer. Scorecards are used for
tabulated metrics, measurements and other summary data and
may be presented in tables with conditional formatting support
and user-defined columns. The software also offers frequency
analysis capabilities to transform segments of a time-series
signal into the frequency domain. Users access the frequency
analysis tool via a panel that displays results as a power spec-
trum or as a formula in a scripting environment.

The RGTS series single-phase motor soft starters can control
12 0- or 2 40-Vac induction motors up to 25 A/3hp. The series is
a fully solid-state solution. Wire bonding technology reduces
the thermal and mechanical stresses of the output chips. It
requires just two user adjust-
ments: the motor ramp-up
time and initial torque,
which can be adjusted inde-
pendently via the built-in po-
tentiometers. The green LED
light indicates the supply
voltage presence. The ramp-
up and full-voltage indication
are provided through an orange LED light. The starter does not
require a dedicated control signal, so less wiring is involved.

This high-acceleration, voice coil-driven, XY positioning stage
with a precision bearing system minimizes the amount of
pitch, yaw, and roll in a system. The VCS06-010-BS-01-MXY
closed-loop positioning system uses a custom low-profile
design with an electromagnetic circuit design. The motor has
a two-axis planar coil assembly that interacts with a common
magnetic circuit. This circuit design allows for a minimal over-
all height of 2 .085 in ( 53 mm). Each axis has a 0 .62-in [15.8-mm]
stroke and generates 0 .75 lb [3.3 N] of
continuous force and 2 .25 lb [ 10
N] of peak force. Each axis is
guided by precision linear ball
slide assemblies.
