For the last edition of Art Basel, multitalented designer and architect
(and Louis Vuitton’s artistic director) Virgil Abloh was tapped by Vitra to
create an installation based on the interaction between an adolescent
and his home surroundings. As part of the project, Chicago-born Abloh
and Vitra released three limited-edition products, all in Abloh’s
signature bright orange: 999 numbered ceramic blocks (left), and
two pieces (right) based on popular designs by French metalworker
Jean Prouvé: the Petite Potence lamp (300 examples available) and the
Antony armchair (just 100 available). vitra.com
