On the modern side...GM let it be known that the Camaro badge will probably be nomore and that the mid-engine Corvette is just around the corner. Sedans of almost every make aremore than available.The SUV/Crossover market is on fire with more options between the bumpers thenthere are lightning strikes in a summer afternoon thunderstorm.
Auctions, auctions, auctions. The fast-moving and very popular Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction at the Mohegan Sun ineastern Connecticut is underway as we go to press (June 27-29). So no details to report on at this time. Stay close to the inter-
net for results. It looks like a very strong, thorough, interesting, stimulating auction weekend in New England. And it will be a
lot of fun, too.
Then take a deep breath and get ready to travel to California for the Pebble Beach Monterey auto-extravaganza week. If
you do not have a room or event tickets you may be out of luck. But you can still bid remotely at all of the major auctions. It’s
hard to keep up.
