01 We have not seen this image before. It is the
Le Mans inner cit y garage which Jaguar used each
time it raced there in the 1950s. The year is 1954
and the cars are XKC402 (#14) and XKC403 (#12),
with replacement C-Type XKC011 being hastily
prepared af ter the road crash en route of XKC012.
It would finish four th and D-Type #14 second.

massively damaged Aston Mar tin mobile and able
to return to the pits following a crash on lap 25! He
