ometimes a restoration project, or even
basic maintenance of a car, can be a bit
overwhelming, especially if you come
across a problem that you can’t easily solve. This
is when it’s great to be a member of a car club or
a subscriber to a specialist motoring magazine.
It is likely that someone else has come across
the very same glitch as you and can help you out
with advice on where to buy spares and how to
tackle certain tasks. MGE is keen to help out MG
owners so if you have a technical question or advice on how you
overcame a technical quandry then feel free to drop us a note. You may
even like your MG featured in our pages. Sharing details you have
learnt about your car or perhaps recommending a specialist who
helped you is all useful stuff that could inspire other readers to get an
old MG back on the road or preserve a rare car for future generations.
We are resting the MGE annual writing competition for the moment
and are instead offering a year’s MGE subscription to readers’ stories
that make it to print. It could be a story about your MG or a fantastic
road trip that you take this summer, or even a trip you took in the past.
(Extra points will be gained for pics from the 1970s with flared
