passed the two million mark in 1971,
and total sales throughout its lifespan
exceeded 2.3 million, with 1.3 million
of those in the UK. This mid-sized
family saloon was hugely successful
in the UK, being the best-selling car
from 1963 to 1966 and also from 1968
