NEW CHAPTER
Well over 200 guests attended the Grand Opening Party of Cheoy Lee
Shipyard’s refurbished and expanded head office in Lai Chi Kok, as the
historic shipyard also celebrated its new branding. Founded in Shanghai
over a century ago, Cheoy Lee moved to Hong Kong in 1936 and is
currently managed by the fourth and fifth generations of the Lo family,
with a main production facility in Zhuhai. The company’s business is
dominated by commercial boats, but it recently launched a new line of
luxury motor yachts under the brand CL Yachts.
