SAILING IN
SHENZHEN
Poland’s Sunreef Yachts hosted an exclusive presentation on the
Sunreef Yachts Sailing Academy in Shenzhen, China. Organised
with local Sunreef representative Speedo Marine, the event
welcomed more than 50 guests to learn more about the beauty
of sailing, with speakers including Francis Lapp, President and
founder of Sunreef, and James Li, President of Speedo Marine.
Steve Ravussin was among the special guests and the
Swiss sailor shared his experiences on multihull yachts and
emphasised the primary focus of the initiative: that sailing is
far more than racing and regattas. The academy promotes the
attractions of sailing, such as travelling to remote parts of the
globe, connecting with nature and spending quality time with
family and friends.
“This initiative was one of the first activities undertaken in
cooperation between Sunreef Yachts and Speedo Marine,” Lapp
said. “The success of this first venture has been fantastic, and we
look forward to more joint projects in China.”
