AUTONOMOUS VESSEL FORUM
Canberra will host the Australian Autonomous
Vessel Forum this September, bringing together
policy makers and industry experts for a series of
presentations and discussions.
The event will explore opportunities, challenges
and priorities regarding the regulation of autonomous
vessel design and technology.
Key speakers include Captain Marko Rahikainen,
chief advisor to the Finnish Transport and
Communications Agency, who will speak on Finland’s
goal of establishing the world’s first autonomous
maritime transport system by 2025.
