ack in the RV, Jason drives up to
nearby Washington Pass. There he
sets out on a three day ski traverse
of Ragged Ridge in pursuit of his
Washington Glacier Ski Project: a quest to ski all
of Washington’s named glaciers – well over 250 in
total (above, Jason Hummel Photo). Continuing
eastward through the Cascades, the small town
of Mazama has some great trails for mountain
biking (bottom). After several days in the backyard
of the Cascades, Jason takes time out to edit his
photography and plan his next adventure.
