MAGNUM RESEARCH BFR IN .500 LINEBAUGH
John Linebaugh wasn’t messing around when he tinkered with ½-inchers. The .500
Linebaugh is proof enough of that. It’s a do-all. And now, Magnum Research’s Big
Finest Revolver comes chambered for the rather sizable piece of whoop-ass. The BFR in .500
Linebaugh comes in four confi gurations with the option of a 5.5- or 7.5-inch barrel and the
choice of standard or Bisley grips. The fi ve-round revolver is outfi tted with a fi xed front sight
and an adjustable rear. It also tips the scales at 3.25 or 3.5 pounds, depending on barrel
length. No matter what you’re tracking, you’re certain to have enough gun with the BFR in
Linebaugh.
MSRP: $1,399 (standard); $1,482 (Bisley grips)
PACHMAYR COMPETITION
SPEEDLOADER FOR KING COBRA
Whether for self-defense or competition, extra ammo is a must to have at hand.
And, if you run a revolver, that means investing in a speedloader. While there are
many options, Pachmayr’s unit has proven itself among the quickest and most
durable. And now, it’s confi gured for the hottest revolver to hit the scene: the Colt
King Cobra. Capable of reloading all six of the .357 Magnum’s chambers in the
twist of a knob, it’s a must-have when carrying the snake gun. Made from durable,
yet lightweight, aluminum, the speedloader is rugged and built for years of use ...
which is just what you want in a device meant to keep your gun in the fi ght.
MSRP: $22.98
BROWNING TRAIL FORCE
.38 SPECIAL AMMUNITION
For those suffering from ophidiophobia (overwhelming fear of snakes), does Brown-
ing ever have you covered! The company’s new Trail Force .38 Special ammunition
might arguably be the ultimate when it comes to snake rounds. Not content to load
up another pistol round with just shot, Browning has taken the next step by creating
a hard-hitting duplex load. The round offers a ¼-ounce payload consisting of two solid
lead disks with No. 9 shot sandwiched in between—more than enough to put the
testiest timber rattler in check. And it’s defi nitely a must when you head out to set up
your deer stand later this summer.
MSRP: $21.10
