ICONIC MOMENT
Vieira inherited the captain’s armband at Arsenal in May
2002, and went on to lead the club in their most famous
season. As well as captaining the side during the 2003-04
“Invincibles” campaign, the Frenchman scored in the 2-2
draw with arch-rivals Tottenham that secured the title.

Second in the all-time scoring charts and a record breaker
for Manchester United, Rooney’s most famous moment

ICONIC MOMENT
Never mind just Aguero or even Manchester City – the
Argentine’s dramatic last-gasp strike against QPR in the
dying moments of the 2011-12 season is probably the most
iconic moment in the history of the Premier League. No
foreign player has scored more goals in the English top flight.

ICONIC MOMENT
The Ivorian usually delivered when it mattered most, as
he proved in April 2010 when he scored in a vital 2-1 victory
at Old Trafford. The result saw Chelsea leapfrog Manchester
United at the top of the table as the Blues went on to seal
the title, with Drogba also claiming the Golden Boot.
