Patient Self-Order Lab Testing Companies

If you are unable to find a practitioner who will perform the necessary lab
tests for you, some companies provide direct-to-consumer lab testing. I
have successfully used the following companies:

Note: These companies do not require a physician’s order to perform lab
testing.

DirectLabs (directlabs.com/thyroidrx/OrderTests/). DirectLabs offers
most of the tests I recommend in this book, including thyroid tests, gut
function tests, nutrient deficiency tests, adrenal tests, and tests for chron-
ic viral infections.

My Med Lab (mymedlab.com). Provides a variety of tests, including
the Alletess food sensitivity test. (https://thyroidrx.mymedlab.com/
food-allergy/96-food-allergy-igg-alletess).

ZRT Labs (zrtlab.com). Allows patients to order their own labs. All
blood tests are done through noninvasive saliva, urine, or blood spot
testing. Available tests include TSH, free T3, TPO antibodies, and uri-
nary iodine.

My Labs for Life (mylabsforlife.com). Offers access to a variety of blood
tests, including alkaline phosphatase, TPO antibodies, celiac panel, PCB
