How to Find Your Path

“Every strike brings me closer to a home run.”
—Babe Ruth

Healing from any chronic condition and moving toward better health is

a journey. You may stumble before you succeed. I struggled for several
years before finally finding what worked for me.

Don’t Give up, DIG AT IT!

How do you find the root cause of your thyroid condition? You have to
DIG AT IT. Once you do, you will know which types of changes you
need to implement to make yourself feel better.

The acronym DIG AT IT stands for:

Depletions, Digestion

Iodine, Inflammation, Infection, Immune Imbalance

Gut, Gluten

Adrenals, Alkaline Phosphatase

Triggers

Intolerances

Toxins

As you read each chapter dedicated to the above-mentioned headings,
pay special attention to the quizzes and assessments to determine which
types of risk factors you may have had for developing Hashimoto’s.

You will then create your own Health Timeline. This timeline should
include an overall health history as far back as you can remember.
Infections, periods of severe stress, the use of medications (especially an-
tibiotics, antacids, and oral contraceptives), accidents, and exposure to
toxins should be especially noted.
