ENVISION FESTIVAL

Uvita, Costa Rica

If you have dreamed of practicing yoga in the wild jungles of
Costa Rica then Enivison Festival is a yoga festival not to miss.
This festival celebrates the awakening of our human potential
through art, dance, music, spirituality and, of course, yoga. It’s an
eco-conscious festival that extends beyond yoga and spirituality
to the earth, focusing on permaculture and eco building. In fact,
everything built for the festival is done using renewable materials
and in a ‘leave no trace’ manner, so the venue is left in the same or
better condition as it was found in.
Rancho La Merced is where the magic happens, which is nestled
between the rainforest and the beach. The next Envision Festival
takes place between February 28th and March 3rd and features
the likes of internationally known DJ Lee Burridge, singer Trevor
Hall, ‘Yoga Girl’ Rachel Brathen and permaculture teacher Penny
Livingston, amongst others. There is also a ‘village’ set up that has
a herbal elixir bar, healing therapies and a free herbal clinic. It’s a
natural oasis in a natural setting that truly oozes community spirit
and consciousness.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA FESTIVAL

Rishikesh, India

Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga, and home of the ancient yogis,
sages and seers is holding its second international yoga festival
in March, 2019. Connect with like-minded, conscious yogis and
paradigm-shifters in this seven-day immersion and celebration.
You have the opportunity to embrace every major style of yoga,
learn from enlightened spiritual leaders, master yoga teachers,
evolutionary thought leaders, and wellness specialists from the
around the world. Truly an astonishing experience for those looking
for transformation and deeper understanding of yoga.

And Don't Forget...

Yoga festivals can be awesome experiences, but they can also end
up being a disaster if you’re not properly prepared. Here are a few

festival tips for beginners.

5Bring your own water

If the festival allows it, make sure to bring your own, as these events tend
to be in short supply.

5 Bring toilet paper

We’ve all been to a place that has run out. Especially a festival that lasts for
days on end.

5Lather up on sunscreen

This is common sense, but you’d be surprised how many people leave
yoga festivals looking like a lobster.

5 Bring your own yoga mat

Some festivals may provide one, but who knows how many others have
usedit before you do.

5 Bring non-yoga clothing

Yoga pants are comfortable and cool, but you may want to do more than
yoga.

5Earplugs

If there is music at the yoga festival then it can get loud. In fact, amplified
music can be deafening, so having earplugs with you is a great idea.
