REASONS
TO LOVE
February
Charlotte Tomlinson-White has
scoured the county to bring you the
top events taking place this month
HALF TERM FUN
The Vyne has a fantastic new mix of activities
and adventures for families to enjoy from half-
term. Find out which bugs have been munching
on bits of The Vyne, on the Pesky Pest
challenge in the house. A family of 11 children
lived here in the 19th-cenury - they loved
dressing up and playing outdoors - you can
try on Victorian outfits to see how you’d have
looked 150 years ago. February 18 onwards,
The Vyne, Sherborne St John, 01256 883858
TA N K ED U P COM EDY
Having wowed the judges and viewers
alike with his fast-paced comedy routines
at the finals of this year’s Britain’s Got
Talent, Robert White is now bringing all
that fun you saw on the TV live across
the country. With a suitcase full of his
trademark vests, Robert will be travelling
the UK with his unique, musical stand-up
on The Tank Top Tour. February 8, 7:30pm,
Princes Hall, Aldershot, princeshall.com
Feeling blue
With six albums under his belt, Michael
Roach is well established in traditional
blues music circles around the world. Head
to The Forge and step back in time as he
shows off his East Coast style of blues that
dates to the 1920s. Expect an exceptional
performance with audience interaction.
February 15, 8.15pm, The Forge,
Basingstoke, anvilarts.org.uk
