T

he bells have only just now stopped ringing
for Christmas, and 2019 is full of promises for
new resolutions, new plans and... summer
holidays? That’s right, while some people
explore the snow y slopes in Europe, others are already
dreaming of blue waves and golden sands. Our
summer campaign is in full swing, so have a look at
these incredible destinations and take your pick

Menorca. The second largest of Spain’s iconic Balearic
Islands, Menorca offers a combination of fascinating
history, natural beauty and quality food. It houses
more than 100 beaches, each with its own unique
character – from unspoilt coves with turquoise waters
and dense pine groves to quieter beaches with dark
sand and striking cliffs.
Interesting fact – in 1993 Menorca was declared a
UNESCO Biosphere reserve, which allowed the island
to preserve a lot of its natural habitat. Whether it’s
mountain-biking, horse riding, kayaking or surfing, you
will definitely have plenty of activities to get involved
with. Long for extreme adventures? Make sure you hike
the famous Cami de Cavalls, which will give you a real
180-km challenge around the island!

Majorca. For travellers seeking more than just a tanning
session on a beach, Majorca has plenty of cosy villages
and ports tucked away. If you fancy something to tickle
your taste buds, then head to Santa Catalina, popular for

its oldest indoor food market, Mercat de Santa Catalina.
Spend some time exploring the history of Cala
Figuera, a working fishing port, or hire a boat to admire
the beauty of the island during the sunset – a truly
romantic way to spend your evening with a special
someone! We would definitely recommend to visit Es
Pontas, or “the Big Bridge” in Catalan language, which
is a natural arch in the southeastern part of Mallorca,
just like the Durdle Door.

Flight days: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday

Ibiza. A lot of people come to Ibiza seeking all-night
parties, never-ending lights and strobes and free-f lowing
drinks, but this stunning little island has so much more
to offer. Shop ‘til you drop at the famous Hippi Market in
Punta Arabi, full of local craftsmen and artists, dancers
and singers, and of course delicious foods.
If you are looking for a quiet weekend, then head to
a cosy village of San Juan in the northern part of Ibiza.
Walk amongst olive trees and dramatic hills, while
sipping a fresh cocktail made at the local café, where
they use herbs and spices grown in their own gardens,
guaranteed to enhance the taste of your drink. Finish
your holiday on a perfect note by watching the sun
“dip” into the Mediterranean sea from Ibiza’s most
beautiful spot – Torre d’es Savinar.
