The Mayflower Theatre in Southampton
has recently celebrated its 90th birthday
with a gala dinner at the Harbour Hotel
hosted by Chairman Malcolm Le Bas,
the board of directors for Southampton
business leaders, the Mayor of
Southampton and council leaders. Guests
were entertained between courses by
musical numbers performed by Mayflower
Theatre Associate Earl Carpenter and his
company of West End performers. During
its 90th year, the theatre has seen vast
refurbishment, having been completely
repainted, and with seats replaced and
reupholstered it is ready to welcome
audiences now and in to the future.
