Britney cheers
Pop star Britney Spears has been using
yoga to combat fatigue during her
extensive travels for work, uploading a
video of herself making some shapes
on Instagram. Some nights she clocks
up two hours a night of solo practice
- without a mat. She captioned one
clip: “Traveling from hotel to hotel
can make you a little stir crazy, so I
decided to start doing two hours of
yoga in each room! The bare floors
gave me a pretty solid grip on the
ground without a mat. I was very sore
the next day, but at least I got to use
my time wisely.”
Yoga v denim
It’s official: yoga pants are the new denim!
Not quite, but the company that owns jeans
brands ‘Lee’ and ‘Wrangler’ has announced
plans to spin off the iconic American names
into a separate entity as yoga pants and
other alternatives shake up the clothing
market. VF Corp. said it will offload its
denim business into a separate, as-yet-
unnamed company, as it focuses on the
more dynamic, active consumer (it already
owns The North Face activewear brand).
“Consistent with its enhanced focus on the
outdoor and active consumer, VF will move
its global headquarters to the metro Denver
area,” it said in a statement.
