...I snack on
is nuts – Brazil nuts, cashews,
pistachios. I love nuts! I try
to eat them at night, with hot
water – instead of dark chocolate
and a cup of tea, which is what
I used to eat and then I was
full of energy!
...that
makes me
feel confident
is Joe [her boyfriend, TV presenter
Joe Swash, 35]. He makes me feel like
a really great human being. It can
be a thankless task being a
parent. But he tells me I’m a
great mum and knows
how hard I work.
...I do to stay healthy
is cycle. My boys, Zachary, nine, and
Leighton, five, are really active. They don’t
like to sit still or be indoors. One thing we all
enjoy together is cycling
- and it’s free. We cycle in
Epping Forest and I often
cycle to Joe’s, which is
about seven miles – it’s
easier, and far quicker,
than driving.
...I’ve
learnt from
being a mum
is to accept the guilt and throw it away!
Ever since becoming a mum at 18, I’ve
felt guilty. At first I thought it would go
away but it doesn’t. There’ll never
be a point when I don’t question
my decisions but I’ve learnt
not to beat myself up
about it.
...I do to relax
is read. I like autobiographies or factual
books. If I can’t sleep, I’ve got a couple
of complicated astronomy books that
always help me drop off! I’m not great at
switching off – when I think about
resolutions each year, learning
how to unwind is top of my list.
I need to learn how to meditate.

the little things that
make her tick
...I always
have in
my fridge
is loads of salad and veg.
I have salad every day,
either with a meal or as a
meal. I’ll snack on cucumber
- I can easily eat a whole
one – carrots, cauliflower,
peas in the pod and, my
favourite, spring onions. We
fight over kale in our house!

...I always
have in my
make-up bag
is Shiffa White Tea Moisturiser.
I love it – it makes my skin feel
super smooth. It feels like an
extra layer, so anything else
going on to my skin during the
day – pollution or make-up
- doesn’t get to seep right in.
