Yoga Connects
July 3-5, 2015
yogaconnects.co.uk

If you can’t make it Stateside this summer, then head to the
English town of Rugby to see some of America’s finest yoga
talent. Yoga Connects is a new yoga festival to be held at the
beautiful Stanford Hall Estate.
It features a host of inspirational instructors from the USA
and elsewhere including Meghan Currie, whose awe-inspiring
sequences have gone viral on Youtube. Californian native
Dylan Werner will also be turning the world upside down with

his one handed handstands.
Then there’s Acro-Yoga couple, YogaBeyond, and floating
yogi, Patrick Beach. Top American yoga photographer Robert
Sturman will also be on hand to capture the action.
The venue is very English, however, taking place around
the exquisite lake-side lawns and forests of the elegant
Stanford Hall estate. And flying the flag for Britain is
London’s Celest Pereira and Funk the Buddha’s Rachel
Okimo, among others.
Yoga, inspiring talks, Kirtan and other live music,
pampering treatments, wood-fired hot tubs and saunas -
what else could you ask for?
“We are really excited to be collaborating with
international yoga stars to create a magical playground for
the UK yoga scene this summer,” says co-founder Daniela
Olds. “Our intention is to enjoy quality yoga, to create
connection, bring everyone together to chill out and most of
all have fun.”

Yoga Connects takes place from July 3-5. Day pass
£85. Two and three day tickets range from £180-
£265 (Gold or Silver pass) which include two nights
camping, yoga classes, an activity and talks.

YogaFest Amsterdam

Another big show to debut this summer is YogaFest Amsterdam. This
two-day festival of all-things yoga will take place at the Houthavens, in-
between the renewed office blocks with a view of the IJ river. For anyone
who hasn’t been to Amsterdam before, we can officially confirm that it is
pretty awesome.
Around 1,500 visitors are expected to attend the show to enjoy 80
yoga classes, together with meditation, music, food and a great wellness
vibe. Expect lots of well-known international teachers including Erica
Jago (US) and Roberto Milletti (Italy), a regular face at the OM Yoga Show
in London, while from the UK, Sally Parkes will also be there.
With Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yang yoga, Aerial yoga, Hotpod yoga, Kundalini
yoga and much more, there’s something for everyone on the schedule.
And afterwards, of course, there’s always the city itself to explore.

Tickets: Early Bird Weekend ticket, €95 till end of April;
Standard Weekend ticket €120; Saturday ticket €75; Sunday
ticket €55.
