F

ifty metres high above a hot, steamy jungle, a yoga group strikes a pose.
But this is not Costa Rica – this is Cornwall.
In fact, it’s the first-ever hot yoga class in the lofty reaches of the world
renowned Rainforest Biome at the Eden Project, the planet’s biggest
rainforest in captivity.
It was all part of Eden’s first-ever Wellbeing Day in which visitors could try out hot
yoga on the platform and a range of other feel-good activities.
A group of yoga fans were put through their paces by a series of yoga
instructors including Dan Parnwell (pictured centre) from Truro’s Breathe Hot Yoga
(breatheHQ.co.uk) who came up with the platform idea.
Kate Francis, Eden’s programme producer, said: “We think hot yoga high up on
the Canopy Walkway or even higher and hotter on the Rainforest Lookout is an
experience never to be forgotten.”

Why travel to the rainforest when
you can bring the rainforest to you?
