SCORE SAVERS

A lot of amateurs release their wrist hinge too early in the downswing, which casts the clubhead outside the neutral line and releases energy

I release my wrist hinge too early

WHAT IF...

Early release

If the water comes out too early
in the downswing it shows
you’re not creating any lag in
the downswing and there’s a
power leak before the club
gets to the ball.

Correct release

The water should come out just
past the ball to show you are
releasing your wrist hinge and
creating maximum speed where
you want it – when the club
impacts the ball.

KEEP THE WATER IN THE BOTTLE
Making your downswing movement while holding a full water bottle as if it
was a club will show you exactly where you release the power you’ve
created. Keeping the water in the bottle in the transition and through the
downswing shows you’re storing power properly.
