HOW TO BECOME A
WINNING GOLFER
You’ve probably heard the
phrase “winning is a habit”
and assumed it only applied
to Tour pros or elite level
golfers. But it’s an adage that
holds true at an amateur and
club level, too. During the
spring and summer months,
there are medal, Stableford,
match play and knockout
competitions taking place up
and down the country each
and every week. And as with
the professional game, those
competitions are very often
won by the same group of
golfers time and time again.
If you’re frustrated at always
entering these events but
never going home with the
silverware, it’s time to reassess
your entire approach to golf.
Having worked with Tour
professionals and elite level
amateurs, I can tell you that
the difference between
winning and losing is rarely
a matter of who has the best
swing. At the end of the day,
it’s the players who are best
prepared and who manage
their games mose effectively
who succeed most frequently.
Over the next 34 pages,
I’m going to show you how to
prepare for competitive play
like a world-class golfer. In
addition to a refresher course
in all of the key areas of the
game, I’ll show you how to
improve your practice, course
management, nutrition and
competition day schedule.
I can’t guarantee we’ll turn you
into a prolific winner, but we
will make you a better golfer!
