I obliterated the left upper quadrant of the painting, leaving only snippets of shapes from the previous step.
I painted negatively on the right, creating a fi gure who magically emerges from the chaos. The rectangular mid-gray
between the bottom shapes brings Orange Sunshine (watercolor, acrylic and gesso on paper, 21x14) to completion.
