OM Magazine
Issue 80, January 2018
Happy New Year yogis! Welcome to 2018 and
another brilliant new issue of OM Yoga &
Lifestyle magazine. Let’s get this yoga
party started!
If our job here is to walk alongside you on
your yoga journey, and to inspire you along the
way, then that is precisely what we intend to
do. We thought we’d start this year with a bang
so we’ve got some incredible features lined up
for this month.
They include a look into the diversity issue in yoga (Is Yoga Finally
Becoming Inclusive? page 40), plus an entrepreneurial masterclass
from well-known yoga tycoons to help you get lift off in your business
(Meet The Yogipreneurs, page 104).
There’s a special report too on how to get your new year off to a
flying start (Yoga Detox, page 60). Whatever your plans, wherever you
want to go, then adopting a healthy lifestyle with yoga, plus other
popular tools – from vision boarding to the power of positive thinking
- can help get you there.
We’ve also got some amazing personalities featured inside, such as
legendary photographer Mick Rock (yes, that’s his real name!), the man
who’s said to have ‘shot the seventies’, working with the likes of David
Bowie, Lou Reed and many other iconic figures (Rock N Yoga, page 52).
There’s plenty of practical yoga to keep you going too, including
yoga therapy tools for everyday neck health (Yoga Therapy, page 116)
and an appreciation of the wonders of yin yoga and all its calming,
restorative, healing ways (The Power Of Yin Yoga, page 46).
Thanks for reading, everybody, and from all here at Team OM we
hope this turns out to be your best and most blissful yoga year yet.
