Why are there so many completely different interpretations?

- Some of the most controversial Christian beliefs, such as the role of
women in the church, fi nd clear support in the Bible. How do we
determine if these simply refl ect the culture of the time or if they are more
universal? - What is the center of the universe for you? How is that working for you?
- How deep are you willing to go in Bible study? Are you willing to
consider sources other than those that support what you already think
you believe? - Take a story or parable from the Bible. Read it with a friend and take
turns retelling it. Note what you added and what you left out, and then
ask yourselves why?
