 of God. My experience has been that from this silent surrender, I’m able
 to be more fully open to the triune God’s transformation in my life. It’s
 not easy. I often fi nd it hard. But life takes on colors that slowly replace
 what was black and white. Both the pain and the beauty that were dull
 become vibrant and can pass through us in prayer. Our love for God and
 the wonder of God’s grace can start to seep out of our wounds into a love
 for all of creation, even our enemies. From this silence, let worship well
 up and over into every part of life.
