Your Morning Routine Toolkit
204
Now That You Know, What Will You Do?
We’ve covered a lot of information in these pages. We’ve
shifted our perspectives on what God time is, why we plan,
and why our health is important. We’ve learned to set a simple
three- minute anchor for a God, Plan, Move morning routine.
And I’ve given you a variety of incredibly practical tools for
building a grace- filled, life- giving morning routine.
So my question to you is, now that you know, what will
you do?
Will you choose to bring your fish and loaves before God
each day (see Mark 6)? Will you choose to be okay with the little
you might have and pursue the deep impact of faithfulness?
Your journey ahead won’t be perfect. You’ll have hard
days and harder days. You’ll have mornings when it all clicks
and other mornings when it feels as though the world is con-
spiring to keep you from meeting with Jesus. Some days you’ll
be aching to dive into the Word, and other mornings you’ll just
sit and stare.
Whatever you encounter, keep pressing on. Be persistent.
Pray for a passion for the Word. Pray for a powerful prayer
life. Ask God for wisdom in planning and the ability to make
wise choices about your health. Petition Him to become a
woman who not only hears the Word but also lives it by giving
Him glory, loving others, and serving the least of these (see
Matt. 25:40).
There are so many stories in Scripture about persistence:
- In Luke 11:9, Jesus told us to ask, seek, and knock, and
the door will be opened to us.
