A great way to dig deeper into Scripture, of course, is to
ask a few simple questions. You can think about the answers as
you read, or you can write down your responses in a journal.
The Bible truly comes alive when we consider and pray
about how God wants us to apply it to our own lives.
Questions to consider:
- What does this say about God?
- What does this say about the church?
- What does this say about me?
- What truths are in this passage?
- Does this passage lead me to confess anything in prayer?
- What should I pray?
- What actions should I take?
- How can today be different because of this passage?
- What are some journaling questions I could take from this?
- What is the lesson from this passage?
- Which key verse should I memorize this week?
Research
Every page of Scripture offers so much to be learned. But
sometimes we can take our study to a new level when we start
flipping the pages and learning the story behind the story.
Here are a few things you can research about the passage
you are studying:
