The Morning Office
Preparation
Father, glorify your Son, so that the Son may glorify you.^17
God, be merciful to me a sinner.^18
Lord, if you are willing make me clean.
I am willing – be clean.^19
I thank you Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have
hidden the knowledge of yourself from the wise and intelligent of this
world and through your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ alone, to whom
you have given all authority, you have revealed yourself to those of
simple faith; yes Father, for this is your gracious will.^20
The Psalm(s)
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in
the beginning, is now and shall be for ever. Amen.
