Lord Jesus, break your church of fruitless desire and destructive
pride. Gather us together in union with you and make us humble
and submissive, clean and holy. Teach us that all loving compassion
towards any fellow-Christian is Christ in us.^153

Grieving and mourning and with great respect I ask, good Lord; how
shall all be well after the great hurt that has come through sin to your
whole creation? Bring to completion your saving act in Christ, greater
than all the harmful things of the world. Since you have made well the
greatest harm, in your perfect will make well all lesser hurts......^154

Conclusion
You have made us only for yourself and restored us by your precious
passion. You keep us in your perfect love. And all this is of your
goodness. O God, in your goodness, give me yourself, for you alone
