British Made

Celebrate all things British with British Made,
the new pattern collection from Rowan. It
showcases its Moordale and Valley Tweed
yarns, which are spun and dyed in the UK
using British-sourced wool and alpaca.
Designed by Lisa Richardson, the 13
women’s patterns in this collection bring a
modern twist to traditional knitting styles.
Classic cables, for example, feature on the
‘Fleetwith’ sweater, but its oversized body
paired with fitted sleeves give the project a
contemporary look.
Dramatic textures are used on ‘Wetherlam’,
a knee-length hooded coat in a gorgeous
shade of blue. ‘Grasmoor’ is a cosy cabled
scarf, while the ‘Scafell’ textured hat is
suitable for novice knitters.
Colourwork details add interest to a fitted
round-necked cardigan, a long cowl, a
relaxed sweater, and a pair of on-trend Fair
Isle legwarmers. For more dramatic colour,
there’s a long V-neck cardigan with pockets,
called ‘Grisedale’. Garments are all sized to fit
busts of 32in-50in.
