FINISHING
Graft heel sts together using Kitchener
stitch. Block carefully, following any yarn
care instructions on the ball band.

Two -a t- a-t i m e s o c k s
Avoid second sock syndrome by knitting two socks at the
same time on long circular needles! Make 2 balls from your
yarn. Cast on 2 sets of 16 sts on the same needle with their
own ball of yarn as follows: use the magic cast-on method
for the first sock, then push the sts along the needle on to
the cable and with the second ball of yarn cast on for the
second sock. With the first 8 sts on the front needle tip, pull
the back needle out toward the right so you are ready to begin
knitting them. Using the correct ball of yarn, knit across these
8 sts. Repeat for second set of 8 sts, using the appropriate
ball of yarn and leaving the first set of sts on the cable. Turn
work. Continue the pattern, working across both sets of sts
with the appropriate ball of yarn each time before turning.
