CAROL MELDRUM loves to work with
colour, and her latest design for us is
a cosy yet neat poncho with bright
stripes. Deep horizontal bands of colour
a re l i n ke d by n a r row ve r t i c a l s t r ip e s to
form a tessellating pattern. The project
is worked from the top down, with
ribbed edges, and is knitted in Lopi’s
classic Léttlopi Icelandic wool. This
warm, sturdy and long-lasting yarn is
ideal for outerwear, and is available in
50 solids and subtly heathered colours.
