PATTERN NOTES
It is important to wet-block the cable
panels and body to the exact measurements
for best results; steam-blocking will not
achieve as accurate a result.


The sleeves are designed to end right before
the wristbone begins. If you would like to
adjust the sleeve length,add eight rounds of
stocking stitch for every 2.5cm you want to
add, after the decrease rnds are completed.


STITCH PATTERNS
2x2 RIBBING IN THE ROUND
All rounds: K2, P2; rep from to end.


ALTERNATING BRAIDED CABLE
Row 1 (RS): P4, K2, C4F, K2, P4, K2, C4B, K2;
rep from
to last 16 sts, P4, K2, C4F, K2, P4.
Row 2 and all WS rows: Knit the knit sts
and purl the purl sts.


Row 3: *P4, K4, C4F, P4, C4B, K4; rep from *
to l a s t 16 s t s, P4, K4, C 4F, P4.
Row 5: *P4, K2, C4B, K2, P4, K2, C4F, K2;
rep from * to last 16 sts, P4, K2, C4B, K2, P4.
Row 7: *P4, C4B, K4, P4, K4, C4F; rep from *
to l a s t 16 s t s, P4, C 4B , K4, P4.
Row 8: Knit the knit sts and purl the purl sts.

BODY
Usi n g 3. 2 5mm c i rc u l a r n e e d l e s, 10 0 c m
long, cast on 192 ( 204 :216: 228 :244: 264 :276)
sts.
Pm and join to work in the round, being
careful not to twist sts.
Work in 2x2 ribbing for 4cm.

Knit in st st for about 37 ( 37 :37:40½:40½:
42 :42) c m or a b out 1 16 ( 116 :116: 128 :128:
132 :132) rnds, then divide for front/back
as follows:
K84 ( 90 :96: 102 :110: 120 :126) back sts, pm,
K42 ( 45 :48: 51 :55: 60 :63), pm for centre
front short rows, K24, pm for centre front
short rows, K42 ( 45 :48: 51 :55: 60 :63). The
beg of rnd mrk will be your other side mrk.

Next rnd: K n it to mrk , sl m , k n it to f i r s t
centre front short-row mrk.

CENTRE FRONT SHORT-ROWS
Short-row 1 (RS): K 24, t u r n work.
Short-row 2 (WS): B r i n g ya r n to b a c k ,
Sl 1 wyib, bring yarn to front, P23, turn.
Short-row 3: B r i n g ya r n to f ront, Sl 1 w y i f,

bring yarn to back, knit to previously
wrapped st, turn work.
Short-row 4: Bring yarn to back, Sl 1 wyib,
br i n g ya r n to t h e f ront, p u rl to pre v iou sly
wrapped st, turn work.
Repeat Short-rows 3 and 4 until you have 12
wrapped sts on each side. The last wrapped
s t w i l l j u s t b e w r app e d , w it h no p u rl i n g
afterward.

K n it to mrk , pi c k i n g up a n d k n it t i n g tbl
each short-row wrap with the stitch it
surrounds. Slm; pull the first stitch after
the wraps snug so there is no gap and knit
to beg-of-rnd mrk.
K n it to mrk , sl m , k n it to f i r s t f ront
short-row mrk. Remove mrk, K12 wrapped
sts, picking up and knitting tbl each wrap
with the stitch it surrounds. Cast off
54 ( 57 :60: 63 :67: 72 :75) sts to beg of rnd mrk,
making sure to cast off wrapped sts loosely.
Knit to mrk, then cast off rem front sts,
making sure to cast off wrapped sts loosely.
Break yarn, leaving an ample yarn tail for
weaving in.

BACK
You will now work the back as a single flat
piece. Rejoin working yarn at the side that
was your beg of rnd.
Row 1 (RS): Knit all sts, then, using the

Row 2 (WS): Purl all sts, then, using the
