Stay here feeling and being this light for as
long as you wish, breathing easily and calmly
as you do.
When you are ready you can withdraw this
white light from all the space around you
and bring it back to your body so that you
are again lying there as a figure of white pure
light. Then, start to imagine this white light
is coming together to a fine point at your
centre breast, at the heart centre. So fine
it becomes a candle flame and fades away
leaving your body feeling at ease, healthy
and cleansed so thoroughly and wonderfully.
Next, take three deep breaths and start to
move your body in a gentle way, coming
out of the relaxation and bringing your
awareness to the room once again. Open
your eyes when you are ready, roll onto your
left side and sit up slowly. Continue your day
with a new positive perspective and a new
sense of excitement.

AFFIRMATIONS:
I am love,
I am light,
I am connected to divinity and to God,
I am healed on all levels of my being,
I am peaceful and free.

SEED SOUND AND MUDRA:
Chanting seed sounds requires you to
‘sound’ the word inside your body and aim
the sound at the chakra or part of the body
associated with the sound. Seed sounds
stimulate and shake up the energy of the
chakra in the aim of opening them and
balancing them. Mudras using hand gestures
are also said to stimulate the energy of the
chakra. You can chant these in the postures

any words in our vocabulary to explain.
This is true understanding and of such a
high energy. If you are to work with your
crown chakra you must work with the root
(muladhara) chakra also to ensure you are
grounded in energy so that the stimulation
of the crown chakra energy opening does
not over stimulate you, as this could lead to
anxiety or other mental health issues. From
a firm base, energy moves up the chakras
freely, and we learn all lessons and insights
through all of the chakras to all knowing at
the crown. From the crown chakra, the pure
cosmic energy travels downwards through
all the chakras and brings with it clarity and
the ability to deal with material and spiritual
issues with creativity and harmony. We will
always have tensions and stresses as an
individual/human in this world, however
with the openness and honesty of the crown
chakra, how we deal with life in this world
can be very harmonic and peaceful.


YOGA POSTURES TO BALANCE
AND STIMULATE:
Fish (matsyasana), headstand (salamba
sirsasana), savasana (corpse pose),
pranayamas and meditation


CHAKRA BALANCING RELAXATION:
Cosmic Relaxation:
Lie down on your back with your arms at
the sides of your body and allow your feet
to drift out to the sides. Take three slow
deep breaths, in through the mouth and out
through the mouth. Relax deeper with every
exhalation you make.
Now imagine there is a bright white light
above the crown of your head, which is a
glowing brilliant white light. Imagine this
white light is travelling down into your head,
through your head, through the neck, across
your shoulders and down through your
arms to the hands and to your fingers, right
through to your fingertips. Then imagine the
white light travelling through your chest, rib
cage and down through your belly, back and
around your hips to your tailbone.
Imagine the light then shines through your
legs, through the knees, into your feet and
to all your toes.
After a while, imagine that your whole
body is glowing as a figure of brilliant white
light. This light cleanses your whole body,
your breath and your mind, stay here for
a while and imagine all of this. Imagine
that your whole body is now emanating
a very bright pure white light and you are
shining this light to all the space around
you, cleansing and healing everything it
encounters, and then to all things as far as
you can imagine – in the room and beyond.

Sound for Muladhara: AUM
Mudra: Put your hands before your
stomach. Let the ring fingers point up,
touching at their tops. Cross the rest of
your fingers, with the left thumb underneath
the right.

CRYSTALS TO BALANCE & STIMULATE:
Crystals have ancient healing energy and
power for the chakras, and to use them with
your chakras all you need to do is carry
them on your person in some way. Also, by
relaxing with the crystal placed on or near
the chakra location is very balancing.
Crystals/Stones: Diamond, Zircon and
Rock Quartz.

AROMATHERAPY/ESSENTIAL
OILS TO BALANCE & STMULATE:
Essential oils can be used by adding to
a little milk (so that the oil mixes in) and
adding to our bath water, in oil burners, on
your pillow for bedtime, on a hanky to carry
with you, or even in foods/water (under
expert guidance only). Sense of smell is the
first sense we are born with which makes
it one of the most powerful senses to use
in healing.
Essential Oils: Lavender, Angelica, Lotus,
Star Tulip, Frankincense, Myrrh, Jasmine,
Benzoin and St. John’s Wort.

Work with these yoga postures, techniques
and with the additional supports over the
next month and many insights into your own
crown chakra energy and the lessons you
are to learn there will be revealed.
