  • Stack the hips directly over the shoulders and draw the shoulder
    blades toward each other, keeping the neck long and maintaining
    the natural curve of the cervical spine.

  • Direct the gaze upward as the back of the head presses into the
     oor.


Modi cations and Other Options



  • Place a blanket under the shoulders to support the neck.

  • Bend the knees and reach back with the hands, grabbing onto the
    outer edges of the feet for a deeper stretch (1).
