  • Place a block or bolster under the bent knee for support.

  • Bring both knees into the chest, spread the arms out, and let both
    knees drape together over to one side (1). For some students, this
    variation provides a more effective stretch through the lower back.

  • Wrap one leg over the top the other and then move into the twist to
    add more of an outer-hip stretch (2).
