An antidote to the fast-paced energy of the city outside
R
e:Centre is a sanctuary of rest and reflection.
Everything, from the structure of the programming
to the seasonal food served in the café, is
designed to remind visitors of the natural rhythms
we are intrinsically connected to.
Situated on the Thames Path in Hammersmith with stunning
and calming riverside views (including from the yoga studio
itself, if you’re lucky you can practice facing the sunset!). There
is a full timetable of classes, for all levels, offered throughout
the day, though the focus is more towards the rebalancing
side of the practice (Slow-Flow, Grounding Vinyasa, Yoga for
sports, Restore and Release). They also have more unique
offerings such as Monday night Candlelit Yin, Breathwork
with ‘The Breath Guy’ and Yin and Yang, alongside regular
mat pilates and Barre. More classes are being added to the
schedule all the time.
Regular workshops include Family Yoga and Mindful
Photography, as well as Gong Baths with Leo Cosendai and
‘Womb Lodges’. Re:Centre has two events spaces that have
hosted 5 Rhythm dance events, art exhibitions and guest
speakers (events spaces are available to hire).
And guess what? it’s currently running an introductory 21
days of yoga (consecutive) for just £35. Yippee!
